A TAFE NSW course on providing trauma informed care for emergency and frontline workers dealing with people who may be experiencing trauma from events such as war, violence, natural disasters, loss, and accidents. The three modules cover trauma informed care and practice (TICP), working from a trauma informed perspective, and using self-care to manage trauma.
My role
As the learning designer, I created a highly visual and interactive course to make a complex and sensitive topic engaging and practical. I used real-life scenarios, Storyline interactions, and video to help learners apply trauma informed care principles in realistic contexts. I also developed the full visual design, sourcing and editing stock images in Photoshop and Canva to support an empathetic and accessible learning experience.
