I’m a learning and instructional designer with 15+ years’ experience creating engaging, accessible, and learner-centred training. My background in teaching, writing, and digital media allows me to design courses that are clear, relatable, and effective.
I enjoy both the pace of rapid builds and the depth of complex projects. I've been working remotely for the past 7 years and I’m equally at home working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
I’ve developed hundreds of accredited and non-accredited courses for government, education, and industry. I specialise in narrative-driven and game-based learning that uses plain English and inclusive design to connect with diverse learners.
Tools & Technologies
I currently use mainly Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Moodle LMS, Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop), and Microsoft Office 365.
I have also used Adobe Captivate, iSpring, H5P, and various tools for video, animation, and AR. I’m always exploring new technologies.
I’m a fan of Cathy Moore’s action mapping process for concept design and planning. For collaboration and communication, I often use Microsoft Teams and Google Docs, but I’ve worked with many other tools.

8 years full-time at TAFE NSW as a learning designer, content development manager, and senior learning designer. Experience across project management, concept design, ideation, storyboarding, content writing, assessment design, and multimedia and online development.
7+ years as a freelance remote digital learning designer, working with TAFE NSW, NSW Government, Australian Institutes of Applied Technology, and other clients.
Content writing
Educational resources, assessments, learner guides, and books for Blake Education, Catapult SmallPRINT, Compliant Learning Resources and TAFE NSW. I also write a creative travel blog, Adventurous Hermit.
