the project
Two AQF Level 6–7 microcredential courses (6 modules and 60–70 hours each) created for the Institute of Applied Technology – Digital as part of a blended delivery program. One course explores building machine learning models, with modules on hyperparameters, optimisation, generative AI, scalable pipelines, and distributed ML. The other focuses on MLOps practices, covering fundamentals, pipelines, testing, monitoring, automation, and end-to-end deployment.
My role
As the learning designer, I designed and developed all modules across the two microcredentials in Articulate Rise, integrating interactive Storyline elements for delivery in Moodle. Working remotely with subject matter experts, I used analogies to make complex technical concepts clear and engaging. I sourced and adapted stock illustrations to visualise ideas in an accessible, entertaining way, and applied clear structuring and chunking to support learner understanding. Hypothetical scenarios were integrated throughout to demonstrate how the concepts apply in real-world contexts.
Key Skills: End-to-end eLearning design · Articulate Rise & Storyline integration · Plain English content design · SME collaboration · Scenario-based learning
