the project
EarTrain is an online program (also available offline through the app) for primary health professionals treating otitis media and hearing conditions in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Delivered nationwide by TAFE NSW, funded by the Australian Government and part of Closing the Gap.
My role
As the sole learning designer for the EarTrain program, I collaborated with audiologists and First Nations advisors to design and develop the 21 separate modules in Articulate Rise, later adding an additional PLUM & HATS module for the National Acoustic Laboratories. I was responsible for all aspects —from structuring and developing the learning content provided by the audiologists to creating the visual design—using a mix of stock images and specialist supplied imagery.
Key Skills: End-to-end learning design · Articulate Rise development · Visual design · Stakeholder and cross-cultural collaboration
