A low-budget rapid-build 2.5-hour self-paced SafeWork NSW course on the Construct NSW Digital Learning Platform. Designed for construction workers, renovators, demolition workers and handypersons, it covers asbestos risks, legal responsibilities, identification, and safe handling. Completion meets employer obligations for asbestos awareness training and enables safe removal of up to 10m² of non-friable asbestos.
My role
As the learning designer, I created a narrative-driven course using consistent characters and workplace scenarios to make asbestos safety engaging and practical. Built rapidly in Articulate Rise with some Storyline interactions, the course combined stock imagery, adapted text content from subject matter experts, and interactive elements to deliver a clear, compliance-ready resource.
