the project
Advanced Manufacturing Careers is the first Microskill delivered by the TAFE NSW Advanced Manufacturing Centres of Excellence. This two-hour online training introduces automation, robotics, AI, and the digital tools shaping modern manufacturing. It aims to tackle skills shortages and outdated perceptions of manufacturing by showcasing the sector’s innovation and career opportunities.
My role
As the learning designer, I translated the project brief and written content provided into engaging online training with a cutting-edge 'feel' that positions advanced manufacturing as modern and inspiring. I used stories and scenarios to make the content relatable, and structured clear pathways into the industry. I built the course in Articulate Rise with integrated Storyline elements, including a custom interface for video content. I also sourced and edited stock images and video, and applied visual design consistent with Centres of Excellence branding.
Key Skills: Narrative and scenario-based design · Articulate Rise & Storyline integration · Visual design · SME collaboration · Multimedia sourcing and editing
